About Invisible Emigrants
At the end of the 19th and beginning of the 20th centuries, tens of thousands of Spanish farmers and laborers left their homes to journey to the United States, where they settled in densely populated communities across the country. This is a relatively unknown, almost invisible, history, both in Spain and in the U.S.
The exhibition was curated by Luis Argeo and James D. Fernández; and designed by Paco Gómez.
This audiovisual mural aims to portray the routes and places where the Spanish settled, as well as the activities they carried out.
