ABOUT: This exhibition explores the world of Jules Verne and deals with the boundaries, sometimes invisible and not always necessary, between fiction and reality. The exhibition aims to portray this virtuous cycle of feedback between imagination and reality, and vice versa.
Curated by María Santoyo and Miguel Ángel Delgado, the exhibition offers a re-examination of the legendary author through a fascinating journey through his characters and inventions, the world that surrounded him, and, above all, the world he inspired. It is an evocative and original exploration of one of the great figures of world literature.
The exhibition is structured as an experience guided by wonder and discovery. Visitors, transformed into explorers, will traverse Verne’s most representative works and the different realms in which his novels unfold: earth, air, ice, water, space, and time, guided by contemporary Spanish and international figures. Thus, a whole host of fascinating characters, connected in one way or another to Jules Verne, lead the way. Nearly thirty characters form a choral chronicle of the Verne spirit.
