NIKOLA TESLA: THE FUTURE BELONGS TO HIM

Video mapping of Nikola Tesla’s biography

We can say that his discoveries, inventions, contributions, and predictions enabled the development of the electrical civilization in which we still live. Tesla conceived alternating current and radio, and he also pioneered technologies that were visionary for his time, such as robotics, vertical takeoff aircraft, remote-controlled weapons, energy-efficient light bulbs, alternative energies, and wireless electricity transmission. And yet, after falling from grace at the dawn of the 20th century, he died and remained forgotten until the dawn of our 21st century. This is incomprehensible, given the enormous significance of his work, comparable to that of his rivals Edison and Marconi, both of whom, incidentally, were fond of snooping around his patents.

Tesla was one of the first to talk about renewable energies as the only alternative for the survival of our planet. In an effort to follow his commitment, this exhibition has been designed using the methodology and carbon calculator developed by Smart and Green Design, reducing its carbon footprint by up to 35% compared to usual practices, while also showing visitors the steps taken and figures achieved. It is the first in Spain to implement and demonstrate environmentally responsible design through the measurements collected.
