“Synesthesia” is a series produced by Curiosa for Fundación Telefónica that explores the relationship between color and the different senses, within the framework of the exhibition “Color. The Knowledge of the Invisible.”
Over five sessions, experts, artists, scientists, chefs, and poets revealed the peculiarities and illusions found in our relationship with the world.

The photo-essay
Synesthesia allowed us to develop our own format, the photo-narrative, which combined street sound recordings, capable of standing on their own in audio, with a visual support that wasn’t dominant in the live performance. We invited emerging photographers to create slow-paced photographic sequences that accompanied the interviews, expanding the sensory experience without distracting from the listening.
